Hamdard looks to chart out new growth strategies for medicine vertical; ropes in EY

The Delhi-based firm, which currently generates revenues of around Rs 400 crore from the business vertical, has roped in global professional services organisation EY to formulate strategies to chart out its future course of action.
The company, which has around 450 products including patented ones, is getting its house in order as it looks to expand brand categories and enter smaller towns and rural areas.

âGlaucoma is high pressure in the eye that damages the optic nerve,â said Dr. Chris Shelby from the WK Eye Institute.
There are different types of glaucoma. One type is acute angle-closure glaucoma.
âThat can cause blurred vision, headaches, nausea, vomiting. When the pressure goes up really, really high really quickly, that can cause those symptoms,â said Shelby.
The most common type is open angle glaucoma.
âThe reason we call it the primary open angle is because anatomically, everything looks normal,â said Shelby. âAnd so, either too much fluid is being produced or not enough fluid is being drained out.â
The daily readings are taken from the lectionary which divides much of the Bible into three years worth of readings. If you complete the daily readings each day for three years, you will read 15 percent of the Old Testament and 71 percent of the New Testament.
